Built in the 1950s, the Cunnamulla RSL quickly became a cornerstone of community life, serving as a gathering place for locals and visitors for more than 50 years. From social events to commemorations, it stood at the heart of town life, filled with stories and memories.
Over time, however, the building slowly fell into decline, and by the early 2000s its doors had closed, leaving behind a once-vibrant space in need of new purpose.
In 2022, we purchased the Old RSL and began a three-year journey to restore it, repairing ceilings, re-sheeting walls, sanding floors, and giving the building the love and attention it truly deserves.
Today, it has been reimagined as The Retreat — a space once again alive with community, creativity, and connection.
